One week ago today we met with our social worker for the first two of three interviews for our home study. I am so thankful that our social worker is wonderful - an adoptive mom of two children from China herself and just a lovely, warm person! LOTS of questions but really nothing we were not prepared for. She told us that she hopes to have her portion of the home study, including all visits and the actual report done in 3-4 weeks (really 3!). The report then must be finalized and approved by both agencies and us but hopefully the whole process will be done in 6-8 weeks. So so exciting!
Today she emailed me to schedule the home visit - the very nerve-wracking part! So next Thursday it is!! I'll let you know how that goes but I think between now and then I'll be a bit busy - lol!!
I also wanted to note that I've added a couple more bracelet options to the Bracelets for One post. Both are already sold, but I am expecting a big shipment of beads by early next week and everything should be back in stock then!! I also had a special request so I'm excited to try out a new color! We appreciate all the orders that have come in and I'm happy to report we have sold 12 already! Again, please share the badge and post with your friends - they make wonderful gifts!!
